For those of who have been following my social media accounts, this is the thousand-word story I have been talking up since the end of June. It is a thousand words by publisher request/author design which means there is a bit of work the reader has to do for themselves in imagining the world. (Or not, just go with the flow. It’s a pretty fast-paced story.)
